If Ron Burgundy and Ellen Degeneres had a love-child, Ashley Linder would surely be it. Equal parts seasoned journalist and engaging comedic host, Ashley blends professionalism with a warm and authentic personality in all that she does.
She got her start behind the mic on radio and quickly became Washington, DC's youngest broadcast news anchor at 21. Thirsty for more than the nightly news could offer, she independently honed her hosting skills covering events all over the DC Metro area. From Occupy DC to The National SeaPerch Competition in Indianapolis, IN to various Drag King/Queen shows to DC Fashion Week, Ashley worked (and werked) it all.
During that time she also began long-form improv classes and studied sketch comedy under Ali Farahnakian at the DC Improv. In 2011, Ashley traded the wild world of nightly news for the equally as hilarious struggling comic scene (much to her parents chagrin) and began regularly performing stand-up comedy throughout DC, Virginia, and Maryland (Phasefest Queer Arts & Music Festival 2011, Arlington Cinema & Drafthouse, Riot Act Comedy Theater). In 2013, she moved to San Francisco where she focused more on writing but couldn't stop performing (The Great Star Theater, Pacific Pinball Museum).
Ashley currently lives in Los Angeles with her cactus, Boris, where she continues to write, perform, and craft a dreamworld.
